If you've been following the progress on Dreamcast-Talk or Twitter, you'll know that I've been working on my own Dreamcast VS Link cables and promised that I'd have them for sale soon. Well the wait is over! Starting today, VS Link cables are now available in the Dreamcast Live Shop for $39.99 each. If you're unfamiliar with what a VS Link cable is, it's a very rare accessory (I'm talking $200 rare) for the Dreamcast that allows you to connect two consoles together via the serial port for multiplayer on dual screens. This will work with any games that are VS Link compatible. F355 Challenge and Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram were the only two games released in the west but there are three additional VS Link games that were released exclusively in Japan including Aero Dancing F, Aero Dancing I, and Sega Tetris. Admittedly it's a small list of games but they're all excellent. If any of these games are up your alley and the idea of having a mini Dreamcast LAN party piques your interest, head on over to the Shop and snag one!

NOTE: The VS Cable option is hidden in the menus for the western releases of F355 and Virtual On. For F355, hold X+Y at the main menu to reveal the VS Cable mode. For Virtual On, press L+R+A+Start at the main menu to show the VS Cable option.

@mistamontiel Don't think so. I played around with it a little bit but no buttons did anything. Unless it's a button combo that no one knows about.

Hi, US VOOT does support the link cable, however, the option is hidden in the menu by default. It will be shown if you press L+R+A+Start at the title screen.
