The Dreamcast is well known for being the first video game console to be internet-ready out-of-the-box thanks to its built-in modem. This was a huge part of Sega's strategy for their little gray box. They wanted to connect gamers all around the world and allow them to play Dreamcast together, regardless of whether they were in the same room or on opposite sides of the planet. While the Dreamcast was first and foremost a gaming machine, Sega wanted it to be even more than that. For many families the Dreamcast provided their first portal to the world wide web. Sega made connecting to the internet a breeze with easy-to-use web browsing software and keyboard and mouse peripherals to make navigation as natural as it would be on a desktop PC.

Something I've been wanting to do for a while now is track down all the Dreamcast's DLC and make it available all in one place. With the recent "release" of all the DLC for Floigan Bros., this made me all the more determined to make this dream a reality! Well, I've finally done it! While I don't yet have every bit of Dreamcast DLC ever released, I've managed to put together the internet's largest and most complete collection of Dreamcast DLC. Currently you can find DLC for 4x4 Evolution, ChuChu Rocket!, Crazy Taxi 2, Dynamite Cop, Floigan Bros., Phantasy Star Online, Metropolis Street Racer, Rayman 2, Samba de Amigo (incl. It's been 16 years since the game's release but for the first time ever, all 12-months of timed DLC for Visual Concept's Floigan Bros. has been released! For those of you unfamiliar with the DLC for Floigan Bros., they were monthly downloads called FMTs (Fun Moigle Things) that added things to the game like outfits for Moigle, goodies in the mailbox, and on one occasion (April) a brand new mini game. Previously only the January "Knitted Hat" DLC was archived online but thanks to help from the original developers and a little hackery, all the DLC has been found!
