Is there a better way to start off the new year than another online Dreamcast game being resurrected? Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, Worms World Party is online once again thanks to the amazing Mr. Karlsson! Efforts to try and get this game back online have been going on for a long time now. Just getting to the game lobby proved to be fairly simple but actually being able to start a game was something else entirely. Fortunately we have a genius in out midst in the form of Shuouma who managed to finally track down the final piece of the puzzle. The game is now fully playable online and it’s awesome! I must once again give a huge thanks to Jonas for reviving yet another piece of online gaming history! Who knows what the rest of 2017 will hold?

We tried with a friend using the EU version and it didn’t work…. It got stuck on “Starting game….”. Is there any difference for the versions?
It sounds like you don’t have port forwarding or DMZ enabled on your router. Many games including Worms won’t work without it. See the connection guide for details.
