September ’25 Giveaway: Culdcept II Game & Cards (Update: Winner Chosen!)

Get excited for free stuff because another giveaway has just landed! This month I’ll be giving away a copy of Culdcept II along with a pack of cards (4 in total) which came with it as a pre-order bonus. For any fans out there of unique and quirky collectibles, this is definitely for you! The game is also fantastic though and remains my favorite Japanese-exclusive. To summarize, it’s essentially a mix of Monopoly and Magic, which is an amazing combination in my opinion. And of course this game had online multiplayer back in the day and even supported the broadband adapter. Although the inclusion of the latter in this of all games is a bit strange considering it’s a turn-based game and wouldn’t really take much advantage of the peripheral. But hey, it’s cool nonetheless. Here’s hoping we’ll get this one back online some day soon!

If you’d like to enter for a chance to win, simply leave a comment below and make sure you include a valid email address in the “Email” box. Just for fun, let me know what other quirky Dreamcast collectibles you’d love to own. The winner will be chosen one week from today (September 17th). Good luck!

Update: The winner has been chosen! Congratulations to soulcaliburDC!

  1. Late entry but what the heck always thought this game looked cool. I would love to own a retail kiosk.. I always thought that would be the ultimate in excess for my collection.

  2. Someone else commented this already but of course I’d love to own a Fred Durst signed Dreamcast. It would be my holy Grail, my one and only claim to fame.

As for things that are maybe a bit more realistic, I’d love to have one of those adapters for Saturn controllers on Dreamcast. I think its called “total control” or something like that. It was part of a series of similar adapters. And, though this isn’t exactly “rare” per-se, I would like to own the Sakura Wars 3 VMU. It’s beautiful and it also features in the game. The Dreamcast karaoke add-on would also be neat.

I have a friend who really wants some way to write to those blank gdroms used for development which I imagine is only available in dev kits. That would be cool

  3. I always thought the Dreamcast fishing rod controller would be an amusing controller to have. I’ve never bothered to pick one up.

  4. Thanks for the giveaway! I’ve always weirdly loved the Seaman Xmas Dreamcast. Something about that guady christmas red has always been lovely.

  5. I am also being patient with these kinds of giveaways alongside making sure I don’t purchase too much to keep myself under budget every month. Good luck to whoever ends up winning the game and card set!!

  6. Hey, thanks for another awesome (and generous) giveaway! I am still on the peripheral hunt for my Dreamcast (a hunt which has been ongoing for nearly 20 years), but I am very patient and let the things come to me. Maracas in particular call to me. That said, I have been wanting to play Culdcept for a long time now, and perhaps this is that time. Thanks again and good luck to everyone who enters!
